About Tim Sale

Hi there!

My name is Tim Sale. I’m a CFI, CFII and MEI pilot. I’m a Colorado mountain native and truly enjoy flying through the mountains of Colorado and sharing what I know with others.

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time flying low powered airplanes in, through and around these mountains, and the mountains of other places in North America. I started flight instructing sixteen years ago. Through the years, I have developed an extensive Mountain Flying seminar. This allows me to share my love of flying and of the mountains with others.

I have helped all levels of pilots from Private through ATP – pilots from at least ten states and several Canadian provinces to understand and practice the critical things about mountain flying.

In all of my instruction, my objective is to help pilots become SAFE, Competent and Comfortable as they fly. Flights are planned to meet individual needs and desires.
